Osteospermum

Osteospermum

Osteospermum is a genus of flowering plants in the aster family that are native to South Africa. Osteospermum has daisy-like flowers in various colours, such as white, pink, purple, yellow, or orange. Osteospermum is a popular annual or perennial for beds, borders, containers, and rock gardens. Osteospermum can be grown from seed or cuttings and prefers well-drained soil and full sun. Osteospermum should be deadheaded regularly to encourage continuous blooming and pruned lightly in spring to maintain shape. Osteospermum is also known as African daisy or Cape daisy.
